Bail Bond Process

The bail bond process can seem intimidating but having an idea of what to expect can ease some of the concerns.

Before you call a Mid Missouri Bail Bond agent, it is helpful to have available as much of the following information as possible:

• Defendant's legal name

• Defendant's date of birth

• Defendant's charges

• Jail where Defendant is being held

• Amount of bond

When you call the agent, you will provide them with the above information as well as answering any other questions that they may have.  The agent will talk to you about payment information and arrangements.  Once the necessary paperwork has been completed and payment received, the bond agent will work with the jail for the release of the Defendant.*
